These are the capacities required to see the big picture and connect the dots, negotiate and collaborate with others, creatively solve complex problems, and understand the context—and impact—of their work on the communities they serve. And these are the skills participants gain thanks to GradEL.
GradEL courses are open to all MIT graduate students. To earn the Graduate Certificate in Technical Leadership, you must complete 6.9280 Leading Creative Teams, complete 12 additional units across all qualifying courses, and attend 4 of the experiential workshops offered. You can learn more about the requirements on our Curriculum page. The certificate demonstrates mastery of key principles associated with engineering leadership and is a powerful addition to your résumé and LinkedIn profile.
